What does it cost?
Well, you could end up paying less than your mobility allowance. If all of your mobility allowance is not used, the remainder will be paid to you in the usual way.

The Motability Scooter and Powered Wheelchair Scheme

The Motability Powered Wheelchair and Motability Scooter Scheme offers an extensive range of mobility scooters and powered wheelchairs.

Contract Hire enables you to turn your mobility allowance into a mobility solution for your needs.

Contract Hire' means worry-free mobility.

Contract hire includes:
  • Powered wheelchair or scooter
  • Insurance
  • Extended warranty
  • Servicing and repairs
  • Batteries and tyres (including punctures)
  • 24-hour breakdown recovery service

In the UK, over 1.8 million disabled people receive the Higher Rate Mobility Component of Disability Living Allowance and over 16,000 receive the War Pensioners' Mobility Supplement. SERVICING BREAK DOWN AND REPAIRS

Mark's Mobility service

As service engineers we highly recommend a service at least once a year to obtain top performance from your appliance (to stop bearing from ceasing up etc).

We operate in the Bristol and surrounding areas if outside these areas please give us a call.

We can come to you and carry out the repair/service at your address where you can watch (a lot of companies take the product away to carry out the work then bring back at a later time) All our vans are fully equip to cover nearly all problems that may arise.

The other option is to bring your appliance to us where you can drop it off and collect later or if an engineer is available sit and have a cup of tea or coffee.

Notification of claims
